Kate should be played by a JEWISH lesbian. J E W I S H. that’s the biggest problem with the casting. The casting was antisemitic. The CW’s decision to not cast a jewish lesbian contributes to jewish erasure in media.

Some of yall are acting like if the lesbian they cast was a better actress or whatever it would’ve been fine. But it needed to be a jewish lesbian from the get go. The biggest problem with ruby rose’s casting is that she is not jewish.

the problem here is that non jewish people continually profit off of Jewish stories and culture without any regard for actual jewish people or the impact of antisemitism lol
